Thomas R. Keeler President | President
of EPSCO International, Inc. & TRK Engineering Services Inc.
He is manager and principle lecturer of Precipitator
Seminars, conducting nationwide seminars on electrostatic
precipitators. Tom is
an electrical engineer graduating from Lehigh University, with
over 25 years experience in the particulate removal field
including 5 years as a field service engineer for Environmental
Elements Corporation, a major precipitator manufacturer.
He is an active member in several professional societies
and was a panelist at the 1993 Power-Gen Americas and a speaker at
the 1994 & 1998 World Mining Exposition in
Chile
. Tom has also been a
panelist at several of the ESP/FF Round Table Forums.
Tom was the editor and one of the authors of the new FMAC
EPRI “ESP Maintenance Guide” completed in December 2002.
This manual will set the standards for ESP maintenance for
many years to come. In
October 2003 Tom created the first web-based seminar series on ESP
Maintenance for EPRI.

Employed by such firms as ALSTOM Power, Flakt, Carborundum, EPSCON, P-C Walther and Research Cottrell, Hank’s career included management responsibilities in Operation, Sales/Marketing, Engineering and Field Services, for both Electric Utilities and Industrial Users | Robert M. Hall Vice-President | Has over 39 years of experience in air pollution control. His experience while employed at ALSTOM Power, Southern Environmental, EPSCON and Research-Cottrell includes Project Management and Project Engineering for precipitator, flue gas desulphurization and fabric filter systems. Bob has also been engaged in the design, supply and construction of industrial particulate collection systems. With EPSCO, Bob has conducted inspections of ESP’s and coordinated field data with design and metallurgical testing to evaluate the strength and condition of existing systems in advance of adding SCR’s and the conversion of ESP’s to Fabric Filters. | Richard L. Gentile P.E. | A Professional Engineer in structural engineering registered to practice in over 15 states. Richard was the co-founder and past President of an engineering design company specializing in air pollution control equipment. He and his company provided engineering support services to many original equipment manufacturers. Richard continues to maintain close ties with Multitech and serves as EPSCO's liaison with them for subcontracted engineering services. He has over 40 years of structural design experience and he is familiar with the mechanical and structural design of most ESP suppliers. | | Larry K. Boyer | Has 28 years in the air pollution control field. His experience while employed at Wheelabrator Air Pollution Control included applications, engineering, field service, aftermarket sales and service, and research and development. He has extensive experience with electrostatic precipitators on hot-side and cold-side utility applications, and a variety of industrial applications. Construction checkout, startup, training, testing, troubleshooting, and customer maintenance planning are a variety of areas of expertise. Other experience includes fabric filter dust collectors, mechanical collectors, and dry FGD installations | | Kenneth J. Aken | Was with ALSTOM Power for over 37 years as a Project Engineer, Project Manager and Project Director including planning, scheduling, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and performance testing of services and equipment. Product lines included electrostatic precipitators, fabric filters, flue gas desulphurization and dry flue gas desulphurization systems. | | Ronald
Richard | A
chemical engineer who has specialized in Operations and
Maintenance of FGD and SCR systems. His experience over 35 years
includes engineering, testing, and maintenance of water treatment
and lime handling systems, coal analysis procedures and practices
for ASTM compliance, piping design and installation of bearing
cooling water systems, design and construction of FGD and SCR
systems, as well as procurement of catalysts for NOx removal. He
has published 8 technical papers, and been conferred 5 awards of
recognition. | |
Sigvard
A. Matts | Has
spent most of his distinguished career with ABB Flakt Industrial
AB, Sweden in research and consulting. He developed the background
theory to support use of larger electrode spacing in ESP’s and
introduced the first micro-processor program for
transformer-rectifier thyristor control, resulting in the first
commercially available controller EPIC by Flakt incorporating
intermittent charging capability. One of the original founders of
the International Society for Electrostatic Precipitation (ISESP),
in 1984 he received the ISESP International Fellow Award and in
1987 the M. Hohlfeld Award for introducing the
"wk-method" of ESP evaluation, now universally
recognized. |
